This Grade II* listed building is a classic example of late Victorian splendor. From the main bar the superb original stained glass windows can be viewed with the M&B logo as it was in 1901. There are ornate Minton tiles and a very fancy tiled staircase. The restaurant is well known for its excellent selection of Thai cuisine. As well as the regular Oakham beers and seasonals, at least one guest ale is usually available. Can get busy on Aston Villa home games.
