This Grade II-listed early 19th-century former Holder's outlet, restored and refurbished in 2022 by Black Country Ales, it has an attractive blue-tiled exterior and a cosy one room interior. Handpulls take prominence on the bar and, in addition to permanent Black Country Ales beers, changing cask beers come from breweries across Birmingham and the West Midlands. Three changing craft keg beers and cider are available (some cider may be real). Cobs, pork pies and sausage rolls are available at most times and a real fire may be lit when it's cold.
