The Bratby is located on the ground floor of University of Birmingham's staff house, and is run directly by the University. It has a spacious outdoor area, from which one can directly see the famous Old Joe. The pub is open to students and public, and open even out of semesters. Two handpumps, and usually some craft offerings on keg as well.

University of Birmingham undergraduate students are not permitted at this bar.
