Student Union-run JD Wetherspoon franchise, refurbished and reopened in 2026. The pub is housed in the Guild of Students building at the eastern edge of the university campus, close to the Bristol Road.

Open to the public as well as students, this student union bar has five handpulls serving typical cask-conditioned beers found in Wetherspoon pubs, as well as their standard food offering.

The pub is a large single room with plenty of seating. Unusually for a Wetherspoon outlet, they show live sports on both Sky Sports and TNT. It has a large spacious courtyard area at the front for al fresco dining and drinking, as well as space at the rear and side.

Can get very popular in term time and may close early for university events. N.B. CAMRA discount vouchers are not accepted here.
